We are a collaborative team with offices in Hook, Hampshire and Aylesford Kent, working on a wide and varied commissions throughout the UK, both for private and public sector clients. The assignments we undertake range in size from small scale, one off tasks, to large, multi-million pound projects.

Our experienced and qualified team bring commercial awareness and a proactive approach to all its commissions. We build strong working relationships with our Clients and the service we provide is to the highest standard, using best practice and the latest technology.

About the opportunity and you

  • At Charles & Associates consulting engineers you will be challenged everyday by stimulating projects.
  • You will be working in a team environment, sharing ideas and collaborating with colleagues, extending your previous experience accordingly.
  • You will have the confidence to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will have graduated in a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • You will have some familiarity with engineering software, such as AutoCAD. Previous use of TRICS, ARCADY, PICADY software further modelling software training will be on offer for the right candidate.
  • You will have an opportunity to further develop your transport planning skills attending public consultations and assisting the Directors at public inquiries.
  • The Position is at our Aylesford Office in Kent
