Senior Civil Engineer - International Consultancy - £40ph - Long Term Contract

This International Multi-Disciplinary Organisation are currently recruiting for an experience Civil Engineer from an Infrastructure and Transport background to join the team on a long term freelance basis.
They have worked on some of the largest and most impressive projects globally for over 50 years and see this role as crucial to the development of the London team and the Civil Engineering specialism worldwide.

Your new role
You will be tasked with leading on the projects both in the UK and globally. Highway Infrastructure design and adoption with particular attention to levels and drainage. You will use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment for simulation purposes and to prepare engineering design documents. You will need to liaise with other designers, architects and other engineering specialisms as needed on these projects. Maintain Liaison throughout construction to ensure continuation of design principles.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have significant experience within Buildings, Infrastructure and master-planning and ideally be Chartered. Experience of drainage design within Urban and Greenfield schemes including sustainable urban drainage and hydraulic modelling is essential as is knowledge of Section 102 & 104 adoptions, 106 connection application and 185 diversion works. Previous dealings with the Environment Agency and Council Highway agencies on issues would also be beneficial.
An in depth knowledge of Sewers for Adoption 7th Edition, Planning policy statement 25 and Approved document H are also crucial.
