Civil CAD Technician

Right now, I am currently working with a successful consulting Civil Engineer in order to bring on board a CAD Technician on a permanent basis for their busy design office in Fareham.

Perhaps you will be working of a large consultancy or local authority, but are curious as to the career opportunities afforded by a small to medium practice with long-standing ties to both residential and commercial developers locally.

This particular consultancy is renowned for their ability to attract and retain great staff, whilst delivering high quality design solutions to a diverse client base across the South of England. Their staff turnover is incredibly low, and they have a great reputation for developing Engineers and CAD Technicians alike.

Their current workload covers everything from commercial developments, educational facilities and large-scale residential developments with blue chip house builders, and you will be expected to produce high quality drawings across a range of sectors, whilst being supported towards EngTech status if this is your ambition.

Requirements of the Civil CAD Technician:

* Minimum three years' office experience within a UK consultancy or local authority
* A good working knowledge of AutoCAD
* Passion for creative civil design, ideally within highways
* Good communication skills
