The Role:
Input into the design of traffic management schemes.
Day to day management of technicians.
Preparation of both permanent and temporary traffic regulation orders.
Involvement in all aspects of public consultation.
Site inspections/visits.
Input into preparation of committee reports.
Assist with improvements to teams development.
With a formal qualification in the relevant technical discipline, you will have an understanding of the principles of Traffic Management, DDA knowledge/cycling. You will have a good understanding of highway design infrastructure using AutoCAD, Autotrack, and MX, and also be proficient in the use of Excel and MS Project.
A general awareness in the field of traffic management and public engagement is required.
