This building services contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to be an integral part of a growing team in its head office which is based in Doncaster.

Due to an ever increasing presence in the installation sector and a constant workload they are now looking to expand the team to cope with the workload and provide the best possible service to several blue chip clients in the retail sector.

The role will be to look after retail projects in the North of England. You will be responsible for the design of ventilation systems and small to medium sized hot and cold water systems. Some sizing of ductwork, plant and air conditioning systems will be required and knowledge of control systems would be an advantage but not essential.

You will be responsible for visiting sites when necessary to perform calculations of air flow and ducting sizing. This role will also be client facing so you should be comfortable in these situations.

Applications are welcomed from experienced building services designers. Ideally you will be qualified to degree standard in a building services related discipline however this is not essential as experience will be considered.

You should be experienced in a Mechanical (HVAC) design role within a contracting environment, however if you are currently working within a consultancy at the moment and can show the adaptability needed to make the switch then you will also be considered for this role.

You should be experienced in dealing with retail projects as the majority of this contractors work is within the retail sector.

Membership of a professional body such as CIBSE is desirable but not essential.
