
This role will be focusing on providing a hands on' approach to working with the relevant services providers to determine a practical and cost effective method to divert the existing infrastructure services, including any network reinforcement that may be required, and monitor the works when they start on site. In particular:
Advise the client/design team as to the potential scope and cost of diversion works required to accommodate the proposed construction works.
Assist the technical director to carry out load analysis of the gas, water and electrical power required for the proposed development and ascertain whether any network reinforcement will be necessary.
Advise on the requirements for exploratory trial pits to determine the presence, type, location and depth of existing services and monitor the works on site.
Determine precise diversion routes as required in conjunction with the asset owner.
Attend meetings with the client, contractor(s) and services providers as and when required.
Monitor the diversion works on site and assist in resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
A background knowledge of the civil engineering works required to divert infrastructure services would be an advantage
Experience and knowledge in dealing with major gas, water companies and other authorities
Proven experience on working on new networks' is essential.
