This role will be focusing on providing a ‘hands on' approach to working with the relevant services providers to determine a practical and cost effective method to divert the existing infrastructure services, including any network reinforcement that may be required, and monitor the works when they start on site. In particular:

• Advise the client/design team as to the potential scope and cost of diversion works required to accommodate the proposed construction works.
• Assist the technical director to carry out load analysis of the gas, water and electrical power required for the proposed development and ascertain whether any network reinforcement will be necessary.
• Advise on the requirements for exploratory trial pits to determine the presence, type, location and depth of existing services and monitor the works on site.
• Determine precise diversion routes as required in conjunction with the asset owner.
• Attend meetings with the client, contractor(s) and services providers as and when required.
• Monitor the diversion works on site and assist in resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements
• A background knowledge of the civil engineering works required to divert infrastructure services would be an advantage
• Experience and knowledge in dealing with major gas, water companies and other authorities
• Proven experience on working on ‘new networks' is essential.
• Strong decision maker and problem solver
• Good communicator
