Their engineering and design expertise encompasses the design, modelling and development of hydraulic structures; asset management; flood forecasting and defence; coastal management and ports and harbour design; water resource and supply; distribution and collection networks; drainage; leakage and pressure management; and planning as well as geospatial and international development services.

Reporting to a Senior Engineer, you will work within a team of engineers and technicians in order to deliver quality design solutions to time and budget. This will principally involve preparing feasibility and detail design drawings, but may also involve assisting with the preparation of reports, calculations, specifications and contract documents, and undertaking site visits and inspections. Candidates seeking work on a contract basis will also be considered.

The role will be based Nottingham, and will involve design and detailing work on a range of water projects, including clean and waste water, treatment works, urban water pipe networks, pipe flow, pumping stations, mechanical GA and detail drawings.. You should also be able to demonstrate that you can effectively produce high quality output from CAD systems for use in contract documents and reports.

- The ideal candidate will be a HNC/HND qualified technician with previous with a background encompassing UK water projects.
- Successful operating of AutoCAD is required.
- 3D knowledge would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
