Past, present and future

Established in 2016, our team has decades of experience from the Nottinghamshire County Council’s Highways Department and a range of other highways organisations. Over that time, we have developed an excellent reputation within the industry, delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions, time and time again.

Now, we are preparing for our next phase of growth. Fuelled by the needs of the Nottinghamshire community and local business development, we are putting our skills to work in more ways than ever before.

With expertise including highways maintenance, design and consultancy, construction, signals and lighting, landscaping, environmental management, land surveying, road safety, fleet services and a dedicated highways training centre, we work in partnership with local and National organisations to deliver great results, first-time, every time.

The Newark Waste and Water Improvement Scheme is a £60m Severn Trent Water project to protect over 1000 residents in Newark from sewer flooding. Working with a diverse range of partners, our expertise allowed the project and life in the local community to keep flowing smoothly. This scheme is a great example of how we connect innovative people with positive outcomes.

Dedicated to innovation

Over the last 12 months, the innovation of using Ultifoam to recycle tar bound material has proven to be a cost-effective solution in dealing with contaminated waste arisings from highway maintenance activities, whilst also having environmental benefits.

Via’s rights of way and operations team delivered a scheme to redevelop a vital link between communities and key transport in Retford.

Formerly Church Drive Primary, Arnold Mill Primary located to a new site in Autumn 2008. Working closely with the Architect and the Head Teacher from concept stage to detail design, we have created an environment that encourages learning both inside and outside. We developed challenging and imaginative children’s play areas and provided an interesting and varied external environment with a clear sense of space and place.

By following the ethos of Learning Through Landscapes (the school grounds charity), good design of outdoor spaces enables children to make the most of the school’s grounds. It provides opportunities for healthy exercise, creative play, making friends, learning about and getting in touch with the natural world. Imaginative and stimulating places experienced during childhood are remembered throughout a lifetime.
