The Government has committed to £413 billion worth of projects in the National Infrastructure Plan, creating enormous opportunities for skilled engineers in the UK to shape the future. We are at a critical turning point in infrastructure delivery that will profoundly affect future generations.
As such, ICE has created an ‘Infrastructure Revolution Hub’ for the first time, held as part Ecobuild 2016. The conference hub will examine the requirements and scope for innovation to deliver world class infrastructure projects, engaging with over 44,000 industry professionals who attend the three day show.
ICE members qualify for free VIP access to the in-depth programme, featuring the biggest names in infrastructure projects and supply chain partners, including: Crossrail, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Heathrow, HS2, Cabinet Office Government Construction Team, Anglian Water, Transport for London and the Environment Agency.
A hard hitting session entitled ‘How world class infrastructure will bring resilience to the economy’ starts the programme, chaired by ICE Vice President Keith Clarke, and featuring speakers from GLA and The Airport Operators Association.
