An immediate requirement in South Wales for a Project Engineer within the utilities sector specialising in water.The role is initially for approximately 2 months but there is the possibility of this being extended. The role is within the Developer Services (DS) team reporting to the Lead Engineer.As a credible member of the Developer services team you will be an engineering member of the DS Design Build and Technical Engineering Section to ensure that water supply and wastewater schemes are handled designed and managed within the statutory regulatory and financial frameworks. You will implement design and build schemes and achieve successful delivery whilst ensuring best in class Health and Safety performace both externally and internally on schemes. The Project Engineer provides support for the Lead Engineer as well as providing support and advice to other members of the team.As Project Engineer you will be accountable for implementation of pressurised and gravity water and wastewater system schemes within DS and achieve appropriate KPI's for your activities. You will resolve day to day design engineering and other project management issues and comply with Health and Safety requirements and ensure that all projects designed comply with CDM regulations.
