Associate Civil Engineer Job paying circa £68,000 working on heavy civils projects for large consultancy

Your new company is one of the world's most respected Design and Engineering Consultancies. They aim to build long-term trusted partnerships. Your new company is an international multi discipline consultancy that is about to start work on some of the largest projects in the UK and across the globe. Working on a variety of project, varying from Civils to structures and Nuclear to Defence contracts. You will also get the opportunity to work on International projects and your company prides themselves in being the leading experts for large engineering projects. Your new role

Your new role will provide a number of exciting opportunities for a talented Associate Civil Engineer to continue to develop their careers within a major engineering project environment and to take up senior roles within your new consultancies multi-disciplinary teams. You will have the opportunity to lead and undertake Civil/Structural engineering design, review and construction supervision across a range of projects. You will be checking and reviewing designs prepared by others, leading and motivating a technical team. As well as mentor and develop capability of junior staff

What you'll need to succeed

You will have expertise of working with major clients on high-profile international and UK projects, within a multi-discipline environment. Your new consultancy are looking to build upon their already successful, award winning and forward thinking design team. You will be expected to contribute to the development and execution of cutting edge design working on projects in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Americas. You will be expected to provide high quality engineering design as well as leading, managing and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary project teams. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion and within budget and to programme You will get the chance to promoting and marketing the team, both internally and externally, through attendance at industry events, presentations, client meetings, talks etc. As well as assisting in managing the broader team through mentoring, training and conducting annual appraisals.

What you'll get in return

In return for all your hard work and the opportunity to work on major UK and international projects you will be paid circa £67,000 depending on your experience with extensive benefits package. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects around the world as well as monitoring and developing the team that you head up.
