Senior Geotechnical Engineer vacancy in Surrey working for a leading independent ground investigation company

This business is divided across four offices across the UK employing 60+ staff.
Your new role
You will be based in the Head office of this growing company and be part of the Geotechnical team that provides Geotechnical solutions including investigation and design of piling, foundations, piled walls and retaining walls etc. This position has great career opportunity in line with the companies growth and progression through the geotechnical industry.
What you'll need to succeed
The attributes to successfully fulfil this role are:
Competent in piling, piled walls, foundation and retaining wall design, temporary works, soil nails, ground anchors and the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations.
Experience in delivering detailed design engineering solutions, drawings and specifications in slope stability, earthworks, basements, deep excavations and retaining structures.
Able to work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and gain a good understanding of their sector to foster effective and enduring relationships.
Ability to manage a challenging workload.
A team player with a mature approach including first class inter-personal skills
A degree (minimum 2:1) in civil engineering.
Around 5 -10 years' relevant experience of working on geotechnical projects in the UK.
A Chartered Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers or appropriate professional body.
