CAD Technician job for a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy working in Bedford
CAD Technician (Structural) opportunity with Woods Hardwick in Bedford.

Due to continued growth they are seeking a CAD Technician to join the Structures team to join there already established team in Bedford.
In order to be successful in this job you will need to have knowledge and be competent of AutoCAD software as well as common construction materials. You will also need to have at least 3 years' experience in building structures drafting and be able to prepare drawings in AutoCAD 2D when requested by engineers.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing issues and anything related to the drawings along with other relevant documents. You will have a variety of a work as the job includes building structures and civil engineering structures, for example; retaining walls and landscape structures. In your new job you will be tasked with assisting the engineers with design calculations, carrying out structural calculations and you would posses a strong competence with TEDDS.
In return, Woods Hardwick are offering a salary ranging from £25,000 - £30,000. In addition, you will be encouraged to grow within the role, and be offered career progression opportunities.
