Structural Design Engineer, £35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

The main construction sectors that they operate in are Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Student Accommodation, Hotel & Leisure and Residential. Using light steel framing, they are outperforming the more traditional methods of construction.
Your new role
Working on a variety of projects, you will be doing all the design work required for the vast amount of schemes that your new employer work, with occasional trips to site to ensure everything is going to plan once at the construction stage. Liaising with clients and making sure that all their needs are met to the standard agreed will be part of your day to day.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proficient with using Revit and have a knowledge of FrameCAD as these will be required to complete the designs for light steel framing structures. A background in steel or timber structures is required and hot rolled steel is desirable. As you will be liaising with clients and architects on a daily basis, excellent communication skills are needed along with an approachable personality.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive salary of between £35,000 and £45,000 along with a benefits package. Within the benefits package is pension scheme, flexible working and a busy bonus. You are entitled to 20 days annual leave plus all bank holidays. Working hours are 37.5 per week with the option to start earlier and finish earlier.
