Your new employer is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and specialist land remediation contracting business, delivering a fresh outlook on engineering. Due to internal changes, a permanent Structural Technician is needed in their young and vibrant Bristol offices.
Your new role
In your new role as a graduate, you will be working with and supported by senior engineers to ensure that you are reaching your full potential. You will be working on all the civil related aspects of the structures projects in the Bristol offices such as car parks, roads, drainage. Some of the types of projects you will be involved with will be within the education, health, residential and commercial sectors. You will also be dealing with water authorities and local councils on a regular basis, as well as experiencing some client contact. Report writing and drainage strategy reports will also be a part of your day to day.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant design engineering qualification, ideally with some industry experience. With the large amount of coordination with all parties involved in projects, strong communication skills are important. You will be confident in using AutoCAD with Microdrainage and Civil 3D experience being a bonus.
