Your new company
Your new employer are a steel design and fabrication company that work on new build and refurbishment projects to energy from waste and combined cycle gas turbine power plants. They take on highly technical and logistically challenging projects and have a reputation for delivering these to a high quality. They produce original solutions and add an additional value and efficiency to a project and programme of works.

Your new role
You will be producing engineering designs, ensuring that they are efficient and fully compliant with project interfaces and specification, national standards and other statutory regulations. You will also be responsible for the management of the engineering design process, production of the project engineering programmes, provide accurate reports on projects, temporary works design, and providing engineering support to the pre-construction teams.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified to degree level in engineering or a relevant equivalent and chartered or working towards chartership. Knowledge of current Eurocodes and British Standards is essential along with knowledge of building design and construction in steel structures and civil engineering. Experience of working with contractors, engineers and architects is important as this will be part of your day to day, as well as the ability to report against programmes. Experience of an ISO9001 quality management system is also needed.

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of between £40,000-£45,000 for working a 40 hour week. You will be entitled to 25 days annual leave plus all bank holidays along with a pension scheme, 3x life assurance medi cash healthcare and more.
