Structural Engineer - Associate/Director

McAdam Design are one of Northern Irelands leading multi-disciplinary consultancies working across the Civil & Structural Engineering, Architectural and Project Management sectors with a wide variety of local and national clients in both the public and private sectors. Their structural engineering department has grown considerably over the last 2-years and are quickly establishing a reputation as one of the top structural teams in NI. As a result of this growth they are now seeking to recruit a Structural Engineer at Associate/Director level.
Your new role
You will be joining an established but growing team, consisting of engineers and technicians at various levels. Within this team, your role will be that of the technical lead, responsible for design management and development across of architect-led structural engineering schemes ranging in value from £5million to £30million. You will work closely with the in-house architects and the infrastructure team to deliver multi-disciplinary design solutions. Part of this role will entail travelling to London as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you should be a Chartered Structural Engineer with considerable industry experience. You should be able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge across a variety of structural forms, materials and project types as well as being up to date with all relevant design codes. Additionally, you should be an experienced people manager/team leader (ideally at associate level currently), with a strong track record of delivering innovative designs on time and to budget.
