With a global presence in over 35 countries, they are now looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator to join their Bristol based Buildings team.
Your new role
A key part of your new role will be reviewing, contributing and authoring BIM Execution Plans and overseeing and managing the BIM process for the duration of projects. You will need to ensure that all stakeholders are in alignment with the BIM Protocol, create and maintain a BIM Coordination Programme, establish BIM Coordination workshops and report progress at the Project Design Team meetings. You will need to keep a record of BIM models and their status and produce data rich 3D models. Along with this, you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, coordinate the hand-over of models and data at the agree milestones in the BIM Coordination Programme. You will also be required to support the project team with the delivery of the technical delivery using Revit.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified to a minimum of HNC in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture with a minimum of 5 years working experience as a BIM Manager or BIM Coordinator. You should have extensive working knowledge of BIM software including Revit and Navisworks Manage and should have very strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to deliver multiple projects to deadlines and to prioritise tasks based on facts is essential and you should be able to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills. Experience in conducting model reviews, producing BIM Execution Plans and working in a multi-disciplinary team is also required.
