Building Structures Project Engineer
The building structures group of this multidiscipline practice has work in the UK and overseas. Their workload includes large mixed use, residential, retail, leisure, and commercial projects. The role provides the opportunity to develop, It will initially focus on technical delivery and client liaison, however, as you progress you will become more involved in fee negotiation and management issues. This will hold you in good stead for further progression and be a valuable part of your professional development. You should be a chartered civil (MICE) or structural (MIStructE) engineer with experience that includes experience of major projects designed in steel and concrete. A good technical grounding and an interest in the built environment is essential. The position will involve supervising and mentoring junior engineers and technicians and requires good leadership and communication skills.
