Career Grade - Engineer

- Full Time
This is a superb opportunity for a civil engineering graduate or someone recently (or on the road to being) professionally qualified, willing to be part of our multi-million pound forward programme of highway projects, such as Spalding Western and Grantham Southern Relief Roads and Lincoln Eastern Bypass.
We are in search of someone who will work in the friendly, efficient and productive environment that is the County's Technical Services Partnership, which combines public sector ethos and private sector know-how to provide highway-related engineering expertise. TSP thrives on challenge and excels in creating progressive solutions to complex road design issues.
If successful, professionally qualified candidates would be appointed to the higher grade. Don't worry if you aren't qualified yet as our ICE training scheme and resident ICE reviewers will give you all the help they can to achieve this, allowing you to progress through our Career Grade scheme to the higher grade.
You will fulfil a rewarding role, with purposeful and sustainable work, helping shape Lincolnshire's communities and the future of the county. As we are more than just a design consultancy, you will be able to see projects through from concept to completion on site. In return you will access the fantastic Local Government Pension Scheme, a great holiday allowance, payment of professional subs, CPD opportunities and a whole range of other employee benefits.
At this level, we need a positive and enthusiastic team player, who will meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations. You will be developing your road design skills and take responsibility for delivery of your own schemes. Having good communication skills, you will also demonstrate effective behaviours in the way you work with colleagues and clients.
As Lincolnshire is big and rural, you will need a full driver's licence so you can use our pool cars to get around!
