Conrad Consulting is working with leading Scottish engineering firm to recruit a Structural Engineer for their Aberdeen office.

This particular firm work within building structures, highways, utilities, environmental and geotechnical engineering market.
Their building structures team could be described as small and friendly (current headcount is 14) but they have the collective strength as a multi-disciplinary unit to secure £100M + projects. This really does give you the best of both worlds; the opportunity to add some incredible work to your portfolio but a relaxed and boutique office culture.
Our client will support you to achieve this in the coming years. They have an extremely high pass rate with the IStructE and career progression is taken seriously. Opportunity for advancement to Senior Engineer and beyond is offered. Our client has a history of promoting from within. Many of the current senior staff progressed from a graduate role within the firm.
Ideally, a minimum of 2 years structural design experience is required. However those with less should apply and will be considered carefully for this role by our client.
You should have gained an appreciation for all structural forms and common construction materials in the UK.
Minimum BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering. MEng is preferable but not essential.
Starting salary of £28,000 to £38,000, pension, 30 days holiday plus 3 extra days to be taken over the festive break, flexible working, company pension, cycle to work scheme, paid IStructE fees and much more.
