Intermediate Structural Engineer ( With Training & Development)
Our client invests heavily in training and developing staff and has a reputation as good employer. Their lead discipline is building structures design, supported by a development infrastructure and environmental team. The mentoring and support provided means their engineers achieve chartered status swiftly. They are looking for a structural engineer with four or more years’ experience who will take advantage of the training and development opportunities on offer. You will be involved in the whole design process from scheme design through to completion. They’re projects are predominantly in London and the South East. Much of this work is in the commercial, educational and residential sectors. Project values range up to £30m. You will work as part of a team on larger schemes. Part of your development will be take on and deliver your own workload, the scale and complexity of these schemes will increase as your ability increases. Your existing experience as a building structures engineer should mean that you have had experience of concrete and steel design and exposure to some of the other commonly used materials. You should ideally be a graduate member of the IStructE or ICE. The practice offers a friendly and comfortable work environment and staff turnover is low. There will be the need to attend occasional site visits.
