Your new role
Your new role will involve the management of a regional technical department to procure all planning, design and build aspects associated with residential developments, through the coordination of external consultants. Responsibilities also include all technical issues from land acquisition, construction and final adoption.
What you'll need to succeed
Your new company are looking for a Technical Manager with experience in a similar role within the construction industry to join their South West Region. You will ideally have a degree or equivalent in civil engineering or construction related subject, with sound knowledge of the construction of roads, sewers, foundations and utility infrastructure for residential developers. You will be ambitious and eager to expand your experience and knowledge to cover other aspects of the development process including site acquisition, design and planning aspects. You will ideally have experience of using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages and possess excellent communication skills to liaise with regional / group staff at all levels.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of between £50,000 - £60,000. This along with an annual bonus, company car / car allowance, a minimum of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme, private health insurance and life assurance.
