Senior/Principle Transport Planner Vacancy in Glasgow City Centre

This world renowned Consultancy require a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join their already extremely successful team and will provide excellent offers to attract the right candidate.
Your new role
You will provide technical support on a range of transport projects across the UK, including transport appraisals and strategies. Further responsibilities will include -
- Undertaking and supporting businesses cases to inform transport investment decisions;
- Managing and analysing large data sets;
- Conducting primary and desk-based research to support planning and transport projects;
- Task and Project management - delivering projects to time and budget; and
- Preparing material for fee proposals and tenders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or similar and ideally you will have membership or working towards membership of a relevant chartered professional institution such as CIHT, TPS, CILT or ICE. t is essential that you have not only excellent verbal communication skills but also excellent written communication skills for effective technical report writing. You will be highly numerate and be proficient in the use of Excel. Ultimately, you will be an ambitious and professional individual with a will to progress and continually learn within an exceptional organisation.
