Our Engineering Consultancy is a forward thinking in-house business unit offering a range of services to the County Council and other public authorities. We provide design, project management and financial/contract management services from early stages of a project through to supervision of the actual construction.

Engineering Consultancy is keen to refocus towards both the market and our customers’ needs. Consequently, we are looking to recruit progressive individuals to help develop the business and improve the way we manage our operations.

We are actively seeking an experienced and strategic thinking individual with the tenacity to see the delivery of difficult projects through to completion. You will play an important role as professional head for Contract Services within Engineering Consultancy in the strategic planning and management of Engineering Resource to achieve implementation of our client’s requirements, including the implementation of the County Council’s Transport Capital Programme.

You will lead on strategic contract and procurement advice and deliver strategic contracted frameworks for the Economy, Transport and Environment Department in relation to construction and consultancy related service and works delivery.

You will be an effective contributor to the leadership team within the Engineering Consultancy, operating as a business unit within the Economy, Transport and Environment Department of Hampshire County Council.
