Graduate/Junior Civil Engineer
A successful, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer in their Birmingham office.
With 12 offices throughout the UK and nearly 500 staff this is an excellent chance for a bright, ambitious Graduate to begin their career on a strong foot.
You will be working on a range of infrastructure projects carrying out design and drawing work, reporting to senior engineers and directors who will be there to provide assistance and advice to help you develop your engineering skills and project delivery.
You will also be placed on our graduate training programme, which will assist with your development towards becoming a professional engineer.
What you will be working on
The Civil Engineering team currently has a wide variety of infrastructure projects including, residential, commercial, industrial and renewable energy projects.
Their work specifically relates to the civil engineering; however, you will be expected to work with other disciplines to help progress the overall project.
Their projects currently include but are not limited to:
·Earthworks design and 3D modelling
·Highways and road design
·Flood Risk Assessments
- A degree in Civil Engineering or similar, preferably a 2:1 or above from a Russell group/top 25 University
- Experience in using AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail
