Associate or Associate Director (Structures)

This well established and reputable multi-disciplinary design practice has over 100 staff and various international office locations. They are now expanding their London business and are looking for an ambitious and dynamic structural engineer to head up their new London structures division. They currently already have a team of London architects in place and a very busy workload with major new build projects up to £90m including high rise buildings. This is an important hire as you will be a key player in the growth and development of the London team.
They are currently getting their UK structural work done in the interim by an external design practice in London. Initially you will be working with both the client and external designers, so the role will include design management, scheme and concept design, due diligence, liaising with the client and other design teams. The aim is to build a structural team within London and bring all the work in house.
Excellent salary and package will be offered to the right candidate. Contract candidates would be considered as an interim measure.
You must demonstrate excellent personal and technical skills and ideally be Chartered MIStructE or MICE.
