A Design and Build foundatin engineering contractor in Luton are seeking a dynamic Structural Engineer to join their busy team. This is a permanent position but contract candidates will also be considered.
They are design & build foundation engineering contractor, dealing with rc, piling, groundworks, basements and foundation design using state of the art FEA.
There are around 10 staff in the Luton office and around 60 total staff in the business as a whole. They are currently doing very well and have an £8 turnover.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing across a range of projects, specialising in reinforced concrete
- Producing detailed load take downs
- Producing design and build concepts for pricing department
- Providing technical support to estimating and construction team
You should have several years experience in buildings design to UK standards as well as a BSc in civil or Structural Engineering. You should be experienced in designing with concrete, steel, masonry and timber as well as having excellent communication skills.
