Senior Rail Design Technician / Leading Consultant in London Bridge. Long Term Contract / competitive rate

Your new company
Well known Multi-disciplinary Consultant based near London Bridge are currently recruiting for a freelance Design Technician to join their Rail team. The company have won various awards recently and have a strong 2019 Order book so can offer a long term contract.

Your new role
You will work as part of a team that provides a comprehensive design and advisory service on a mixture of renewal and enhancement projects. A mix of both heavy and light rail work with developers, contractors and various public sector bodies. You will need experience of designing railway structures, Earthworks and Drainage infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need extensive Design experience gained within the UK. You will need to be able to produce your own design work for regulatory approval and construction in connection with Highways and Drainage design. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation for drawing up your own designs is essential, ideally you will have worked with Civils 3D and be conversant with Network rail CAD standards.
