Working with clients across the private, public and voluntary sectors, your new company is involved with projects ranging from residential developments to major highways.

Your new role
Your new role will be as a Highway Design Engineer, joining a busy team engaged in all aspects of traffic and transportation engineering. You will be involved in providing technical support, as well as managing junior staff to deliver demanding projects. Alongside this you will attend meetings and undertake site visits, as well as provide technical information and results for the production of reports and documents.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be degree/ HND qualified in Civil Engineering or similar, and have achieved (or be working towards) chartership. You will be proficient in highway design standards and have experience negotiating agreements, ideally within development schemes for private developers. Furthermore, you will have a high proficiency in industry standard software including AutoCAD, KeySign, KeyLine and AutoTrack, alongside knowledge of PDS, MX and Civils 3D. You will also have Drainage design capabilities surrounding highways design and the application of SUDs.
