Job Details
This highly regarded medium sized building structures consultancy is looking for an experienced building structures engineer with a 2:1 or above from a leading university. They have a reputation for technical excellence and as a first class employer You will be involved in the whole design process from scheme through to detail design and site liaison.
The company provides a highest level of technical expertise(the firm has won dozens of prestigious awards for its work) attracting commissions from leading architects. This will enable you to develop your creative skills and to learn from the senior associates and directors you will work alongside.
Their current project workload includes new schools, high value residential, arts and public sector projects. There will be regular contact with leading architectural firms so good communication/interpersonal skills are a distinct advantage. You should be working towards chartered status and be capable of managing your own workload. CPD is encouraged and supported, you will have an individual training and development plan and there are external courses and events and regular in-house CPD meetings.
