Senior Structural Engineer

A Senior Structural Engineer is sought for Glasgow based engineering consultant due to sustained growth over recent years.

Our client is highly regarded in the Scottish Engineering market and work with several leading brands within buildings and infrastructure development.

You will be joining a team of 8 Structural Engineers and Technicians, who form 30% of the company headcount.

Our client is based a short journey from the city centre and have parking available for all staff.

Requirements of the Senior Structural Engineer:

• You should be familiar with common construction materials, structural forms and confident using design and analysis software.
• Willingness to support Graduate Structural Engineers
• Liaise directly with clients, third parties and local authorities
• Execute delivery of numerous projects at any one time
• Oversee drawing output of Technicians within your team

You do not need to be chartered although if you are interested in achieving CEng status (MICE or MIStructE) then appropriate training and support will be offered.

A salary of £36,000 to £44,000 will be paid depending on experience.
