Civil Engineering Associate

Your new company
You will be joining an award winning, international engineering consultancy who specialise in the design and project management of a range of schemes across the geotechnical, civil, structural, water, energy and marine sectors. The business put the "Technical Excellence" of their staff at the heart of everything they do, with everyone from graduates to directors heavily involved in the design process and project delivery. The Belfast office are now looking for an Associate (or Associate Director for the right individual) to drive the next phase of growth for the business.

Your new role
You will report to the director in the Belfast office, with responsibility for the technical and commercial delivery of Civil Engineering projects, with an emphasis on windfarms, infrastructure, site development for housing schemes, highway and road alignment and drainage design. In addition to this, you will be required to manage and further grow the existing team, as well as winning new work for the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will be a Chartered Engineer with a minimum of 10-years' experience in the design of Civil infrastructure. You should have an excellent knowledge of applicable codes of practice, design standards and health & safety regulations. Additionally, you should be able to display a background in leading a team to ensure project deliverables as well as a track record of contributing to office financial targets by targeting and winning new business.
