Well established civil and structural design consultants seek a talented and career minded Project Structural Engineer to join their London office based in SE1. You should be working towards your Chartership, or have recently achieved this status.

The firm is a reputable international practice with over 80 staff. They have a high percentage of Chartered structural engineers and pride themselves on technical excellence.

Projects include high rise buildings, industrial, commercial and residential buildings schemes. The workload is plentiful and very varied, including trouble-shooting for contractors and both new build and refurbishment schemes. Schemes usually require complex engineering input.

The London office has approximately 20 staff and is growing. This role will involve hands on structural design as well as well as dealing with contractors and architects. Excellent communication skills are essential , as is a desire to work hard and succeed.

This firm pay their staff well and understand the importance of rewarding hard work and excellence with a good salary and significant performance bonus as well. Further opportunities for promotion and progression to a management position are very real here, if desired.

The office is in a good location in SE1, within walking distance of both main line rail and tube stations. They have pleasant office space close to the river, with many shops and eateries.
