Structural Auto CAD Technician

An experienced structural Auto CAD technician is required by a successful and established building structures consultancy. This well managed business has earned a reputation for technical excellence and client care. An interesting workload and good working conditions has enabled them to maintain very low levels of staff turnover. They are looking for an experienced building structures Auto CAD technician who can produce accurate construction details and general arrangement drawings.

You will also manage the delivery of out-sourced reinforced concrete detailing. Their current workload includes commercial, education and residential schemes, predominantly in London and the northern home counties. The design office’s mix of work includes multi-million pound developments for corporate clients and smaller projects for private clients. Their ability to create elegant, economic designs for a wide spectrum of clients has enabled them to remain a consistently stable, profitable independently owned business for over twenty-five years.

You should be a draughter/ technician who is fully conversant in Auto CAD and capable of producing GA drawings with minimum supervision. There will be close working with in-house engineers, occasional site visits and some liaison with architects and clients. You will be working in a friendly and supportive environment, good team working and interpersonal skills are essential.
