Your new role
In your new role you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors as part of a multi-professional team, delivering a number of projects predominantly within the building structures environment. These projects will range from local ones to extremely large scale globally recognised ones, thus giving you a real variety in the scope of work you take on. You will be responsible for the design and management of these developments from concept design to completion. Not only will you be involved in managing and mentoring a team but you will also liaise directly with clients and represent the organisation at various meetings


What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant degree and be chartered or working towards chartership. It is important that you have exceptional technical knowledge of structural designs with all of the common construction materials. It is essential that you have proven experience within building projects; particularly in industrial, educational, retail and residential sectors. Due to the seniority of the position, you will have excellent communication skills in order to build strong relationships with clients and positively represent the consultancy in design meetings.
