Associate Structural Engineer

This award winning, leading consultancy has an established reputation delivering specialised engineering to the built environment. This Ipswich-based office has an opportunity for an Associate Structural Engineer to head the talented team.

The successful candidate will have experience appraising existing buildings delivering reports which provide recommendation for structural repair.

The role requires a high level of client facing ability and exceptional communication skills.

Structural engineering is the core of this firm's success and their project sectors are very varied; you will collaborate with architects, clients and contractors to deliver only the best solutions.

Requirements & Duties:

• Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered Engineer
• A minimum of 8 years' industry experience
• Detailed design & design checking
• Carrying out site visits & inspections
• Liaising & coordinating with clients & consultants
• Project programming & monitoring
• Providing on-going training to all staff
