Job Details

Conrad Consulting is pleased to be working in partnership with a leading design & build contractor to appoint a Temporary Works Engineer in their Glasgow office.

This contractor is highly regarded for their technical output in infrastructure, buildings and property. They can demonstrate a portfolio of work that you would typically associate with a top tier consulting engineer.

They generally deliver temporary works design and project management services for commercial building developments and the redevelopment of industrial/commercial space into luxury residential developments.

Their technical team is some 600 strong in the UK comprising design engineers, commercial, operational and project management staff.

What are they looking for?

You could either be working in a Temporary Works role already OR working as a Structural Engineer with a consultancy. Either way, full training and mentoring will be offered so don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone if you fancy a fresh challenge!

Basic requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years Temporary Works/Structural Design experience
  • Degree qualified BEng/BSc/MEng/MSc Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience of steel structures is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of Temporary Works design would be an advantage

On offer:

Industry leading salary of £32,000 to £38,000 + benefits package.
