Graduate Structural Engineer

My client is a growing Structural Engineering consultancy with a busy head office located close to Kingston-upon-Thames. As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Graduate Structural Engineer with at least 1 years' experience to join their design team on a permanent basis.

They operate across many different sectors including residential, commercial and healthcare projects. Most of the work is from the residential sector, so experience in residential buildings is absolutely essential.

Requirements of the Graduate Structural Engineer:

* Minimum 2:1 BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Two years' UK consultancy experience
* Good understanding of the relevant codes and standards
* High quality oral and written communications (reports, instructions etc.)
* Strong interpersonal and team working skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
* Experience with TEDDS, Master Series and AutoCAD would be advantageous, but is not essential.

In return for you as the Structural Engineer:

* Salary up to £28,000 per annum
* Regular performance review
* Paid subscription to ICE or IStructE
* Support towards Chartership
