This medium sized Consulting firm provide a multi-discipline engineering design, building surveying and advisory service across the built environment. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior structural design engineer to join their reputable London buildings division.

They are a people focused practice. They place great importance on delivering value to their clients business by utilising their cross discipline capability and by working in collaboration with fellow professionals, to deliver on quality, economy and timeliness.

Innovation lies at the forefront of their structural design philosophy. They are regularly engaged in delivering projects using modern methods of Construction, sometimes in conjunction with more traditional structural forms. Workload is very varied, and the role will involve running your parts of projects and reporting into a Associate.

You should have significant experience with varied buildings design exposure within a UK consultancy be Chartered. Refurbishment experience in particular is required. You should be able to demonstrate good concrete frame design skills and ideally you will have used Staadpro, Orion and have FEM experience. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be attending meetings and site visits as part of your role.
