Revit Technician

The new structural division of this well-established engineering and architectural practice has an opportunity for a Revit Technician. The practice has a network of UK offices and a reputation for working on projects in the education, commercial, arts, stadia, hi-tech and corporate headquarters sectors. They have additional expertise in complex, high vale refurbishments. You will be working with in-house and external architects and the role will develop as the structures team grows providing excellent career prospects.

Your task will be to co-ordinate and develop 3D Revit models and to supervise and contribute to the production of general arrangement drawings, details and sections for projects typically valued between £10 and £30 million. There will be regular collaboration with architects, and you will work closely alongside your engineering colleagues to programme work. Good communication skills are essential as is the ability to supervise and mentor junior technicians.   Much of their work is in London and the South East, occasional site visits will be required.

You should be qualified to ONC/ HNC level or above, more importantly you will need a track record of working within the building structures consulting sector. This experience should have provided you with knowledge of steel, masonry and concrete projects  ( most of their RC detailing is outsourced).
