Structural CAD Technician needed by a civil and structural design consultancy for their office in Paddington.The company are involved in design projects for a wide variety of different sectors including buildings, bridges and infrastructure projects such as tunnels and rail projects.The suitable candidate will have several years experience as a Structural Technician, some of which must be UK based. You should have solid CAD 2D skills and 3D is desirable. It is essential for you to be able to use Xraf Management and be able do to CAD RC detailing. You should have experience in both Structural and Civil projects and have extensive experience in steelwork detailing, slabs and foundations. You should have worked with concrete, steel, masonry and timber in a previous role.The suitable candidate will be eager to improve themselves and be hard working. You should be quick and methodical with good attention to detail. You must be able to work under pressure and be willing to work paid overtime. You should also have excellent communication skills as this will be a client facing role.Ideally, you will have experience in rail related projects and have used Revit in a previous role however these are not essential.The company are offering a competitive salary, based on your level of experience.
