Senior Structural Engineer
Exciting opportunity for a creative Senior Structural Engineer looking to work on a high profile restoration and renewal project for an historic structure in London. This will encompass assessing the existing structure and planning a major improvement scheme.
Our client is seeking a Chartered Engineer, either MICE or MIStructE, who has at least 2 years' post Chartership experience working on historic and Listed schemes, and who can boast a strong technical ability.
Working alongside architects, engineers, clients and external contactors; you will have the ability to develop strong working relationships whilst taking the technical lead. A collaborative team approach is vital and our client is looking for an innovative approach to engineering which will offer memorable solutions.
The successful Senior Structural Engineer will have a proven track record of successful project in the UK of at least 3 years; it is highly likely that you will undergo security clearance due to the nature of the proposed scheme.
- In depth knowledge of engineering principals
- Ability successfully deliver projects
- Experience of working within a BIM environment
- Strong technical ability
- Attention to detail whilst working under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
