Principal/Senior Transport Planner

Your new company
The company are an independent transport planning consultancy internationally renowned with a great reputation offering transport planning at the highest quality. Situated in Central London working throughout the UK and internationally, they focus on project delivery, ranging from the development of transport strategies to environment schemes.

Your new role
You will be responsible for leading the teams to produce transport assessments and associated analysis. You will produce detailed transport assessments, develop access strategies for all modes, analyse development effects on road and junction capacity. In addition to preparing concise reports you will be required to attend technical meetings with clients, public authorities and team liaising with the external stakeholders. General knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges including experience will be required to perform in the role on offer.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant degree, ideally in Transport Planning or Traffic Engineering and possess up to 5 years' experience in this field. Use of LINSIG, ARCADY, OSCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT, Autodesk and GIS. You will also have experience managing small projects.
