Civil Modelling Technician

Our client is an established, globally-recognised practice with multiple offices running internationally. They have an opening in their office for a skilled Civil Modelling Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis to work on a range of exciting projects spanning various sectors.

The successfully appointed Civil Modelling Technician will support the team and Project BIM leader with the delivery of projects- adhering to deadlines and set budgets. You'll be expected to take on the responsibility of ensuring that the Project BIM Execution Plan is carried out in a timely, structured standard.

We're looking for a confident, driven individual with that is willing to work under minimal supervision. You'll be working alongside a skilled, experienced team on multi-million-pound projects across a range of disciplines.

Duties (not limited to):

• Oversee the Civil Engineering CAD and modelling team
• Review and critique civil engineering drawings
• Ensure BIM Execution Plan and projects standards are adhered to
• Create, modify and review 3D models using CAD (AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, 3D Studiomax)
• Graphically translate verbal and visual instructions and carryout revisions accordingly

Personal Specification:

• Able to identify and solve problems in a creative and timely manner with sound judgment;
• Excellent knowledge and use of Civil 3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD
• BIM integration and data management
