Principal Infrastructure Engineer responsible for the design of highways and drainage projects

Your new company is an expanding consultancy who undertake infrastructure projects predominantly across the North of England, but have work across the UK.
Your new role
Your new role will be as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes for commercial, industrial and residential developments from inception to completion, including the preparation of FRA reports/drainage appraisals and incorporating SUDS in accordance with the Local/Water Authority requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in road (Section 38 & 278) and drainage (Section 104) design is required and you should be familiar with relevant design software packages such as Micro drainage, PDS and AutoCAD. In addition, you will be experienced in design sites from inception to completion, as well as experience managing more junior members of the team. Finally, you will be experienced in liaising and negotiating with clients and approving bodies, and confident in leading projects and meetings.
