Structural Engineer

As a key member of their structures team you will work closely with their in-house architects. This will be an immersive role, you will provide front-end design advice, design management, design, optimisation and co-ordination. You will be supported by a building structures associate, and a team of capable engineers and technicians.

They are looking for a building structures engineer with a mix of technical and interpersonal skills. You will be bringing together complex, integrated designs. The position calls for someone who can form productive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. It will require regular contact with clients. Your background will have given you an understanding of steel and concrete design and buildability. Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills are highly valued and a strong interest in engineering and architecture is essential. An understanding of the principals of BIM and experience of commonly used design and analysis software is required. You should have a degree in civil or structural engineering from a reputable university.
