Conrad Consulting is working in partnership with a busy and friendly firm of Civil and Structural Engineers based in Cambridge

They are currently looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer on a permanent basis to assist with their full current workload.

This is a privately owned company who have a successful history of delivering to a range of markets. Their current projects include education, retail, residential and commercial.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects and your role will predominantly focus on technical issues from concept design to project management. You will need a good grasp of most commonly used materials and you should be able to take charge of more junior engineers.

The firm is seeking a candidate who has the ability to take on a more senior role in a few years' time and the successful candidate will therefore need to have at least 5-10 years' experience in a buildings structures design environment.

Chartered or near Chartered MIStructE but with good technical, hands-on experience.

Excellent client liaison skills required as you will take on more and more responsibility for winning new business and retaining existing clients.
