Structural Draughtsman/Technician

Your new company
A family-run, long established steel fabrication company based in central Scotland. The majority of their work services the construction sector within; retail, residential, leisure and sports facilities. With a drawing office and factory on-site they are seeking to add a design team member.

Your new role
You will join their current design team of 3 draughtsmen base in their office, utilising Tekla Structures to complete structural designs of various forms to supply the construction industry.

What you'll need to succeed
You will require a background in structural steel design and an ability to use Tekla Structures on UK based steel projects. Individuals with experience in working for a fabrication firm will be considered first, however, presuming the relevant knowledge and skills your previous employer type isn't relevant.

What you'll get in return
If you have a couple of years acting in the described role to build the necessary detailed design skills then you will gain the bottom end of the banding and subsequent added experience will take you up towards the top end. Further benefits are available.
