Associate Director

Our client is a civil, structural & infrastructure engineering consultancy who are currently looking to employ an Associate Structural Engineer to join their Chelmsford based office on a full-time permanent basis. This is a forward-thinking firm with an impressive portfolio of projects valued up to £250M, using the latest technology & software to produce structural 3D BIM models with Revit. Due to a heavy workload this firm have a requirement for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer who can come in & take responsibility for a range of building structures projects, taking the lead & heading up your own team.

Projects: Educational, High-Rise, Residential, Commercial and more.

Headcount: ~30

Location: This company is based in Chelmsford only a short walk from the city centre & 15 minutes from Chelmsford train station.

Requirements:

* Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification,
* Be a Chartered Engineer within a relevant institution i.e. MIStructE,
* Have a minimum of 7 years' experience as a Structural Engineer,
* Have experience running complex building structures projects and managing project teams, guiding & mentoring junior Engineers.
